2.2 We reserve the right to refuse to collect certain items, including but not limited to hazardous materials, medical waste, chemicals, asbestos, gas bottles, pressurised containers and any items that we reasonably consider unsafe or unlawful to transport.

2.3 The exact scope of services for each booking will be confirmed in our quote or booking confirmation, based on the information you provide.

3. Booking Process

3.1 You may request a booking by telephone, email or through any booking platform we make available from time to time. All bookings are subject to our acceptance and availability.

3.2 In order to provide an accurate quote, you must give us clear and complete information about the type and approximate volume or weight of waste to be removed, access conditions, parking arrangements and any other relevant details.

3.3 Any quote we provide prior to attending the site is an estimate only and is based on the information supplied by you. If, when we arrive, the actual waste or access conditions differ from what was described, we may revise the quote before starting the work.

3.4 A booking is only confirmed when we issue a booking confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3.5 You must ensure that a responsible adult is present at the site at the agreed time to grant us access, confirm the items to be removed and authorise any variations to the booking.

4. Access, Parking and Site Conditions

4.1 You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe and reasonable access to the site, including any necessary keys, codes or permissions, and that the items for removal are accessible.

4.2 You must arrange suitable parking or provide any permits required for our vehicles. Any parking or access charges incurred will be added to your invoice.

4.3 If we are unable to carry out some or all of the services due to access issues, unsafe conditions or incorrect information, we may charge a call-out or wasted journey fee to cover our costs.

4.4 You must ensure that the site is safe for our team to work in and free from health and safety hazards, including aggressive animals, exposed wiring or dangerous structures.

5. Waste Ownership and Preparation

5.1 By presenting waste for removal, you confirm that you are the owner of the items or have the owner’s permission to dispose of them.

5.2 You must separate and clearly identify items that are not to be removed. We will not be liable for removing items that you failed to mark or identify correctly.

5.3 All personal data and confidential documents should be removed from items you present for collection. We are not responsible for any loss, misuse or disclosure of personal or confidential information left in items that are disposed of or recycled.

5.4 Once waste is loaded onto our vehicle, it becomes our responsibility and we will manage it in accordance with applicable waste regulations and our environmental policies.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Our charges are generally based on factors including the volume and type of waste, labour time, access conditions, distance and disposal or recycling costs. Prices will be communicated to you as part of our quote or booking confirmation.

6.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the services, prior to our team leaving the site. We may accept payment by cash, card or bank transfer, subject to the methods we specify at the time of booking.

6.3 For business customers, we may agree separate payment terms, including invoicing arrangements. All invoices must be paid in full by the due date stated on the invoice.

6.4 If payment is not received when due, we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue amount at the statutory rate and to recover any reasonable costs incurred in pursuing payment.

6.5 All prices are quoted exclusive of any applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise. Any taxes that apply will be added to your invoice at the prevailing rate.

7. Cancellations and Changes

7.1 You may cancel or amend a booking by contacting us during our normal business hours. Any changes are subject to our availability and acceptance.

7.2 If you cancel a booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, no cancellation fee will normally apply. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover our costs, including staff and vehicle allocation.

7.3 If we arrive at the site and are unable to carry out the services due to your act or omission, including lack of access or incorrect information, we may charge a call-out fee or a proportion of the quoted price.

7.4 We may cancel or reschedule a booking if we are unable to attend due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, vehicle breakdown, staff illness or safety concerns. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and offer a new appointment time. We will not be liable for any indirect loss resulting from such cancellation or delay.

8. Customer Responsibilities

8.1 You must provide accurate information about the waste and the site and promptly notify us of any changes that may affect the services.

8.2 You must not include prohibited items or hazardous materials in the waste unless we have specifically agreed in writing to handle them in accordance with applicable regulations.

8.3 You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to your use of our services and the presentation of waste for removal.

8.4 You are responsible for supervising our work at the site if you have specific items that must not be removed. We will not accept liability for the removal of items that you failed to identify properly.

9. Waste Regulations and Environmental Compliance

9.1 We operate in accordance with applicable UK waste management laws and regulations. We will transport and dispose of waste only at authorised facilities or through licensed partners.

9.2 Where legally required, we will complete appropriate documentation to evidence the lawful transfer or disposal of waste, and we will retain such records as required by law.

9.3 We aim to recycle or recover materials wherever reasonably practicable and to minimise the amount of waste sent to landfill, subject to commercial and regulatory constraints.

9.4 You agree not to request or encourage us to dispose of waste unlawfully or in a manner that breaches environmental regulations. We may refuse any request that in our opinion would be illegal or environmentally harmful.

10. Liability and Limitations

10.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of data, arising from or in connection with our services or these Terms.

10.3 Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with any single booking will not exceed the total price paid or payable by you for that booking.

10.4 You must notify us in writing of any claim for loss or damage within 7 days of completion of the services. We may request evidence, including photographs or receipts, and the opportunity to inspect the alleged damage before any remedy is agreed.

10.5 We will take reasonable care when working at the site, but we are not responsible for normal wear and tear, minor marks or scuffs to floors, walls or doorways that may occur when removing bulky items using reasonable care and skill.

10.6 We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather, traffic conditions, accidents, equipment failure, strikes or acts of authorities.

11. Insurance

11.1 We maintain insurance cover that we consider appropriate for a rubbish removal and waste clearance business operating in the UK. Details of our insurance can be provided on request.

11.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate insurance for your own property and belongings at the site, including cover for any items that may be at risk during the removal process.

12. Complaints

12.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, you should raise the issue with our team as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to address your concerns.

12.2 Formal complaints should be submitted in writing with details of the booking, the issue and any supporting evidence. We will investigate the matter and respond to you within a reasonable timeframe.

12.3 Where we are at fault, we may, at our discretion, offer a remedy such as a partial refund, a repeat service or another appropriate solution.

13. Data Protection and Privacy

13.1 We may collect and process personal information about you in order to manage bookings, provide services, process payments and respond to enquiries.

13.2 We will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws in the UK and only use it for legitimate business purposes.

13.3 You are responsible for ensuring that any personal information you provide to us is accurate and up to date.

14. Intellectual Property

14.1 Any materials, content or branding that we provide, whether in print, online or in other formats, are owned or licensed by us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

15. Variation of Terms

16. Severability

16.2 The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

17.1 These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the services, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

17.2 You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the provision of our services.

18. Entire Agreement

18.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with any written quote or booking confirmation issued by us, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the services and supersede any prior discussions, correspondence or understandings.

18.2 You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation that is not expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions.
